What does accessibility mean – two stories and perspectives

“Many things need to be checked when going abroad”

Pawel Radio

Pawel is volunteering at Freirad in Innsbruck. I met him for the first time in on-arrival training, and in addition that we both were in the beginning of our volunteering experiences, we found also something else that is common for us – we both are blind. It has been very interesting to share and compare experiences!

I made a long audio interview with Pawel. In the first part he is introducing himself, his project and main tasks. In the second part he is sharing his experiences and opinions about accessibility as well as telling about positive memories and challenges of volunteering.

Please also check and follow Freirad. Always in the second Monday of the month at 2pm there is a show called Talking Europe, the show of the ESC volunteers in Tyrol – and you can find Pawel hosting this show! More info, live stream and archive can be found here: www.freirad.at.
